NZ Chromosome Damage

The Institue of Molecular Biosciences at Massey University in New Zealand, by comparing chormosomes from a group of New Zealanders involved in nuclear tests during 1957 and 1958 (even as far away as 150 miles), with a similar aged group of former service personnel not involved in nuclear activities, has demonstrated that ionizing radiation damages human chromosomes. Radiated Veterans have long supected that exposure to ionizing radiation triggers many ailments, including and beyond those Congress has politically listed as presumptive, in the human body, and effects the genes that are passed onto offspring. The New Zealand report is a must read for the political and medical officials in the United States that have long either ignored or downplayed the effects of uncontrolled ionizing radiation, no matter the dose, the term of exposure, the type. or the result. No amount of ionizing radiation is deemed safe.
